Attack Boosts can increase the number of attacks for one character's Physical Attack ring, allowing them to do more damage per turn.
Characters have a set number of total Hit areas that can be added to their Judgement Rings however, that cannot be increased no matter how many Attack Boosts the player has.

Attack Boosts are gained by encountering the Ring Soul in specific areas.
After a somewhat comical cutscene with Yuri and Karin, the Ring Soul will grant an Attack Boost free of charge.

Attack Boosts are gained by finding Ring Fragments scattered around the world, and presenting them to the Ring Spirit by the Detective Agency dumpster in the Upper West Side. She will exhange them for an Attack Boost free of charge.

Mechanics[]
Adding an attack boost (or more Hit Areas) to a ring will spread the amount of damage dealt across those Hit Areas.
The first Hit Area will always deal the most damage, with decreasing amounts for any follow-up areas, however the total amount of damage dealt overall increases with each extra Hit Area added.
