Combo Magic is utilized as a finisher in the combo system.
This was first introduced in Shadow Hearts: Covenant when multi-character combos can be achieved. By combining the assault, the damage increases with the combo. Combo Magic, however, can only work in four-person combos.
Usually the last character in a combo pulls off a magic finisher, depending upon the element of the party's members.
In Shadow Hearts: From the New World, the Stock system provides a new meaning for Combo Magic. Instead of the last character casting if he or she has the right MP amount, Combo Magic costs the entire Stock gauge.
