Inside yamato

The Vessel, also known as Yoriwara, and The Vessel of Yamato is accessable from the Asuka Stone Platform, and serves as the final dungeon of the game.

In the background, giant circles, resembling the Zodiac sign constellations and incredibly large clockwork apparitions, can be seen. This most likely indicates the vessel is located at a gate of space-time fabric itself.

Deep in Coma ~ Battle in Japan is the theme while exploring the Vessel and Hardcore to The Brain ~ Mid-Boss in Japan becomes the regular battle theme.

However, in the Director's Cut, Deep in Coma is instead replaced by The Last Alternatives.

Trivia[]

Bronzebell
  • The exterior of the Vessel is modelled after a Dōtaku (銅鐸), an type of elongated Japanese brass bell, used from approx. 200 BCE to 200 CE. They are thought to derive from earlier, smaller Korean bells. Later dōtaku had relatively thin walls, and either small, or no clappers, and would not have resonated, so it assumed their purpose was primarily ritual.
